This theater is nice, it's small but that's what makes it so good it's not crowded. I saw two movies here already and I'm going to see a third and fourth. The concessions stand is high priced though, but; it's the movies.
We had a good time because of the bartender. Host and counter staff was very unfriendly, they had NO CUSTOMER SERVICE AT ALL the only reason we stayed was this was the last night my daughter was going to be in town and it was raining and we had nothing else to do.. but on the regular I would not pick this spot
I will start this off by saying that I booked tickets to see Barbie at this theater about a week ago. I have never been to a movie theater that served alcohol and “movie themed cocktails”. This is what was advertised online: a full bar, happy hour, movie themed cocktails, “plush leather seats”, and snacks and small bites. When we arrived to the front counter to order, I inquired about the happy hour and cocktails. The person at the counter stated that usually they have happy hour and cocktails at the bar, but they are short staffed and would not be opening until 6 pm. I specifically booked the 4:30 showing so that we could get the happy hour deal advertised. All that was available at this point was wine and beer. And a very limited selection I will also add. But I did assume that because “happy hour” was advertised, that the wine would at least be discounted. We ordered 2 double pours of wine. We also tried to order a water. But they were “sold out of water”. I then asked about ordering chicken tenders, “sorry we are out of chicken tenders.” Okay fine. So we order our popcorn and our drinks. The total came out to $74.80. Seems very overpriced for two drinks and popcorn with advertised “happy hour” prices. There were also not any signs indicating the price of the pours. This is deceiving. When we left, we asked how much the double pour of wine would be and we were told 38 dollars. I could go to a nice restaurant and order 3 glasses of GOOD wine for 38 dollars. For these prices, I would expect the theater to be a little more impressive. Especially reading “plush leather seats” online. The seats were not comfortable and did not even recline. Overall, we were very let down. The website advertises a much different experience.
A wonderful place! Almost every seat is a good one since the theaters are relatively small. Great drinks and concessions. Better than E Street!
Sunday the 13, 2023 - wow love this place, but the crew on this morning were exceptionally rude and had so much attitude. Perhaps some training in how to be civil to your customers is in order.
Attended a screening of Godzilla Minus One. The projector was not aligned correctly, so the image was projected on an angle. There was also a clipping/ squeak coming from one of the surrounds. Additionally, we could hear the bass coming from the cinema next to us, which was quite distracting.
Squeaky theater chairs, overflowing toilets in the bathroom, $30 for a glass of i drinkable wine. Over $100 for a date night with two adult beverages, nothing else. Not worth it.
I've always loved Landmark E Street bc of it's location and choice of movies, but Landmark Atlantic Plumbing let's you choose specific seats! The theater I was in had 48 seats. They are comfy but do not recline. It wasn't the cleanest theater. My seat had remnants of spilled drink as well as trash in the cupholders but it wasn't too bad. The bathroom was extremely dimly lit, which was weird but fine. Staff was super nice.
I love to see movies here! Small theaters, comfortable seats, easy to get to, and the staff is very nice and helpful.
It was such a great theater! They have a bar and an extensive selection of snacks/food. The theater was cozy and comfortable.
